Specific business function scenarios include:

(A) Data Generated from Identification of ID Cards, Passports, and Other Documents

Document verification is a core function of some of our products. When you use these products to identify identity documents, the product will scan and recognize the personal information on the identity document, including name, gender, date of birth, document number, validity period, nationality, photo, etc. It may also use the camera to take your photo to verify whether the document belongs to you. These functions are necessary to realize the core functions of the product. We promise never to disclose your personal information to any third party nor use your personal information for any illegal purposes.

Furthermore, you fully understand and agree that we may collect and use your personal information without your authorization and consent under the following circumstances:

  • Related to national security and national defense security;
  • Related to public security, public health, and significant public interests;
  • Directly related to criminal investigation, prosecution, trial, and execution of judgments, etc.;
  • Necessary for protecting the life, property, and other significant legitimate rights and interests of you or other individuals, but where it is difficult to obtain your consent;

IV. How We Store and Protect Your Personal Information

(A) Storage of Personal Information

  • Storage Location: In accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations, we store your personal information within the territory of the People's Republic of China. We do not have scenarios involving cross-border storage of your personal information or providing personal information overseas.

(B) Protection Measures for Personal Information

  • We only allow employees who need to know this information to access personal information. We require all personnel who may come into contact with your personal information to fulfill corresponding confidentiality obligations. Failure to fulfill these obligations may result in legal liability.

V. Protection of Minors
